Scab was prevalent in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze river, jianghuai river and the southern wheat region of huanghuai river.The occurrence area is about 150 million mu, and the prevention and control area is about 250 million mu.The suitable period for initial chemical prophylaxis was the early flowering period of wheat.The middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze river are in the first half of April, while the southern part of the Yangtze river and the huanghuai river are in the second half of April.The northern part of huanghuai river and the southern part of north China are from late April to early may, and most of the northwestern part are from late may to early June.

The occurrence of stripe rust is mild on the whole, with moderate occurrence in wheat areas in sichuan, most of hubei, southern shaanxi, western guanzhong, southern henan, southern gansu, and yili valley of xinjiang.The area is about 25 million mu.The epidemic peak period is from mid-april in the southwest and han river basin, from mid-april to mid-may in the huanghuai river basin and the south of north China, from mid-may to mid-june in the northwest winter wheat region, and from late June to late July in the spring wheat region.

Powdery mildew occurred moderately in general, especially in jiangsu, huaibei and coastal areas, central and northern henan and southern gansu.The area is 90 million mu.The occurrence peak period is from mid-april to early may in jianghan and jianghuai wheat regions, from late April to mid-may in huanghuai wheat regions, and from may in north China and northwest China.

The incidence of sheath blight was moderate in jianghan, jianghuai and huanghuai wheat regions, and mild in northwest and southwest wheat regions.The area is 120 million mu.At present, wheat invasion has begun in jianghan and jianghuai regions, and the wheat peak period in huanghuai, north China and northwest China is from mid-april to early may.

Stem base rot and root rot occurred in larger areas, leaf rust was common in most wheat areas, and take-all disease, leaf blight disease, smut disease, cystic nematode disease and other diseases would cause certain harm in some areas.
